Our Flagship Facility
The initial BioSelect plant, Galveston Bay Biodiesel, LP, is located on Galveston Island, Texas, and began operations in May 2007.
BioSelect will create a premium branded fuel that:
- Reduces emissions
- Meets federal low sulfur standards
- Enables safe handling and storage
BioSelect has the option to sell 100 percent biodiesel (B100) or blend
pure biodiesel with any percentage of either red dyed (off-road) or
regular (on-road) diesel fuel into a variety of local, national or interna-
tional markets.
Future Growth
Over 40 million gallons of B100 fuel can easily be moved into the local
marine, commercial, trucking and construction markets in and around
Galveston and the Houston metropolitan areas. Management plans on-site
expansion
to over 300 million gallons as justified.
